Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts fitted with attachments like clamps, grapples, or elevating platforms to transport materials
- Manually or mechanically handle, lift, stack, and move raw paper, work-in-progress, and finished goods
- Load and unload freight from semi-trailer trucks
- Keep precise inventory records and report variances promptly
- Transfer materials between pallets, skids, or lifting devices
- Conduct routine safety inspections on lifting machinery
- Perform basic maintenance such as lubrication, battery charging, fueling, or gas tank replacement
