Eurofins Scientific is hiring a HLA Technologist or Senior Technologist CHT

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory tests across various specialties following standardized protocols and calculate test outcomes as needed
  • Operate, calibrate, and perform routine checks on laboratory instruments and maintain their functionality
  • Identify and resolve minor equipment issues, escalating to supervisors when necessary
  • Prepare laboratory reagents and culture media by following documented methods
  • Assess the quality and suitability of reagents, calibrators, and media against defined standards
  • Execute quality control measures on tests, instruments, and supplies; analyze results and apply corrective steps when required
  • Establish performance criteria for newly introduced testing methodologies
  • Carry out regular maintenance on analytical instruments and verify QC materials and test kits
  • Perform standard laboratory assays, including validation of testing procedures
  • Verify test results using in-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques, principles, and instrumentation
  • Monitor and support continuous quality improvement and assurance initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols in line with regulatory requirements
  • Use laboratory information systems to record and report patient data accurately and efficiently
  • Review and comply with Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks
  • Report test findings in accordance with established protocols
  • Support organizational values, leadership principles, and ethical standards
  • Contribute to the overall quality management system by practicing good documentation, following procedures, completing training, and maintaining accurate records

Responsibilities

  • Following prescribed procedures, performing any of the tests within any of the laboratory specialties, calculating the results of the tests performed as necessary
  • Operating, calibrating, conducting performance checks, and maintaining any laboratory analyzers or equipment
  • Recognizing and correcting basic analyzer malfunctions; notifying management personnel when appropriate
  • Preparing reagents or media from a prescribed procedure
  • Evaluating media, reagents, and calibrators according to established criteria
  • Conducting established quality control procedures on analytical tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products; evaluating results of quality control and implements corrective action when indicated
  • Determining performance specifications for new methods
  • Performs instrument maintenance, QC reagents and kits
  • Performs routine testing including assay validations
  • Confirming and verifying results through knowledge of techniques, principles, and analyzers
  • Monitoring quality assurance/continuous improvement programs
  • Monitoring safety programs in compliance with laboratory regulations
  • Utilizes laboratory information systems or other methods to accurately and effectively report patient results
  • Review and follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Reporting test results conforming to established procedures
  • Supports Eurofins DPT’s business philosophy, leadership values, and ethics
