Responsibilities
- Record details for new patients and referral requests
- Handle scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations for patient and provider appointments
- Enter patient data, medical codes (CPT, ICD-0.10, HCPCS), and billing information into electronic medical and health records systems
- Support insurance claim processing, verify coverage details, and manage billing questions and documentation
- Answer patient inquiries, supply relevant information, and route to appropriate medical staff
- Help analyze health-related data, generate reports, and keep records up to date
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA standards, privacy laws, and safeguard patient confidentiality
- Organize the transfer of medical records to designated departments, providers, or professionals as instructed

Responsibilities
- Document new patient and referral intake
- Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling for patients and healthcare providers.
- Input patient information, medical records (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), and billing date into EMR/EHR systems
- Assist with processing insurance claims, verifying patient insurance information, and handling billing inquiries, concerns, and documentation.
- Respond to incoming patient inquiries, providing information and directing them to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Assist in analyzing healthcare data, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance, privacy regulations, and maintenance of patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate the sending of medical records to various departments, healthcare providers, and professionals as directed by the Managing Physician.
