Defy Security is seeking a Head of Solutions Architecture & Field Technology to lead and shape this critical organization. You will drive our technical strategy, lead a team of Solutions Architects, and act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners.

What You'll Do

Lead, mentor, and grow a best-in-class Solutions Architecture team.
Define and execute the technical strategy that drives customer value, scalability, and growth.
Establish clear frameworks, methodologies, and KPIs for the Solutions Architecture function.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Services, and Marketing to align technical and business goals.
Act as a trusted advisor in key customer and partner relationships, providing senior-level architectural insight.
Represent Defy as a thought leader through industry events, partner summits, and community participation.
Champion innovation, enabling your team to stay ahead of emerging technologies in cybersecurity, cloud, and enterprise IT.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or related technical roles.
5+ years of proven leadership managing pre-sales or architecture teams with measurable business impact.
Broad technical expertise across cybersecurity, cloud, identity, and enterprise architectures.
Strong executive presence with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
Demonstrated experience acting in a Field CTO or customer advisory capacity.
Recognized thought leadership through speaking engagements, whitepapers, webinars, or technical communities.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Nice to Have

Advanced certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, CISSP, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

You will lead the Solutions Architecture & Field Technology organization, a high-performing team of Solutions Architects.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary range: $185,000–$210,000 USD, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
