About the Role
This role involves building a modern, engineering-led security program from the ground up, balancing rapid innovation with strong security governance. The person in this position will use AI and automation to scale security effectively, maintain customer trust, and model best practices in agent security both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- Lead product security integration across the software development lifecycle with secure-by-design principles, threat modeling, and architectural reviews to enable safe, fast development.
- Manage end-to-end vulnerability identification, penetration testing, and remediation processes for the platform.
- Serve as the primary stakeholder for security requirements related to authentication, authorization, tenant separation, and privileged access controls.
- Engage deeply in agent-centric security challenges including prompt injection, supply chain integrity, MCP permissions, and non-human identity management.
- Oversee security for cloud infrastructure and internal systems across development and production environments.
- Define and maintain the organization’s security roadmap, risk management strategy, and governance framework.
- Establish and enforce security policies and technical standards for identity, endpoints, cloud platforms, and SaaS applications.
- Collaborate with the Internal Systems & AI Lead to ensure security is embedded in identity platforms, device management, and SaaS operations.
- Lead incident response planning and execution to ensure rapid, effective handling of security events.
- Enhance detection and monitoring capabilities across the organization to improve threat visibility and response speed.
- Develop a leading AI-native security program by applying artificial intelligence and automation to increase operational efficiency.
- Design AI-driven workflows to automate security investigations, policy enforcement, governance tasks, and routine operations.
- Manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS), automating compliance evidence collection and control monitoring for continuous audit readiness.
- Support Solutions Engineering in responding to customer security assessments, due diligence requests, and enterprise reviews.
- Ensure operational excellence and security maturity to meet the demands of global enterprise clients.
- Lead secure deployment of the company’s own product, setting a benchmark for effective agent security implementation.
- Test and validate new features in production environments before customer release, providing real-world feedback to engineering teams.
- Act as a customer-facing reference on security practices, demonstrating practical use of the platform and effective agentic governance.
- Scale a high-performing, lean security team as needed, using automation and AI to maximize individual impact.
- Foster a strong security culture through practical guidance, enabling confident AI adoption with clear boundaries and minimal friction.
- Ensure security acts as an enabler of innovation rather than a constraint.
