Tamnoon is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead the next phase of innovation. You will architect and ship secure, intelligent systems, shape the technical vision and product execution, and build a world-class R&D team.
What You'll Do
- Drive research and development of secure, scalable AI-powered systems that elevate how customers understand and respond to cloud risks.
- Define and execute a vision for embedding LLMs, agents, and decision systems into Tamnoon’s remediation workflows.
- Architect AI-native components (e.g., secure retrieval pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, feedback loops) with performance, security, and explainability in mind.
- Introduce and iterate on new AI features that give customers clarity, control, and confidence in automation.
- Mentor and hire a diverse, high-performing team of full-stack, backend engineers, and machine learning individuals.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence and ownership, where innovation thrives but reliability and security remain uncompromised.
- Lead technical design reviews, research prototyping cycles, and production readiness processes.
- Partner closely with Product and Security to translate vision into roadmap and roadmap into reality—without losing agility.
- Shape technical direction through a deep understanding of both infrastructure risk and user pain.
- Balance short-term impact and long-term investment across experimentation, core system improvements, and platform evolution.
- Represent Tamnoon in technical due diligence, investor briefings, and AI/security thought leadership opportunities.
- Stay on top of the latest in open-source AI, cloud architecture, and cybersecurity to bring the best ideas into the fold.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in software engineering with a strong R&D orientation; ideally 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience designing and shipping complex, secure systems in the cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep hands-on fluency with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), autonomous agents, and open-source AI tooling (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, vector DBs).
- Track record of building and leading cross-functional, high-agency engineering teams that move fast and build for scale.
- Strong product sense and ability to connect research breakthroughs with end-user value.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills—especially in remote, distributed environments.
Nice to Have
- Background in cybersecurity, security tooling, or remediation workflows.
- Experience integrating AI into B2B SaaS, developer platforms, or workflow automation products.
- Familiarity with secure AI practices, privacy controls, and ethical model deployment.
