Responsibilities
- Define and execute the DevOps and platform engineering strategy aligned with company objectives
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing infrastructure engineering team
- Oversee multi-cloud Kubernetes environments and drive Infrastructure as Code and GitOps adoption
- Build and improve self-service tooling for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and secrets management
- Establish and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for critical production systems
- Drive observability, monitoring, incident response, and post-mortem processes across the organisation
- Implement and enforce security best practices aligned with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 frameworks
- Optimise infrastructure performance, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency across providers
- Standardise engineering workflows and operational processes to improve developer productivity
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering roles
- 3+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams in high-growth environments
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management, networking, and security
- Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps practices
- Proven experience managing multi-cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS, GCP, and Hetzner
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and service mesh technologies
- Solid experience with observability tooling covering metrics, logging, and tracing
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD security best practices and secure infrastructure design
- Ability to balance long-term strategic planning with hands-on technical problem-solving
- Experience coaching senior engineers and building scalable engineering processes
Nice to Have
- Experience working with blockchain infrastructure, Web3, or DeFi ecosystems
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka or NATS
- Experience with chaos engineering and resilience testing practices
- Knowledge of CDN optimisation and edge computing architectures
- Strong understanding of the 1inch ecosystem and the broader Web3 landscape
