About the Role
The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of complex water infrastructure projects, managing technical quality, client relationships, and operational performance across the design and construction lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction of design and construction initiatives for water-related infrastructure in the UK and Ireland.
- Oversee project execution from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and environmental standards.
- Manage cross-functional teams to deliver integrated design and build solutions on time and within budget.
- Ensure alignment of engineering practices with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Drive innovation in design methodologies and construction techniques to improve project outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders on major water projects.
- Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Foster collaboration between engineering, construction, and project management disciplines.
- Support business development by contributing technical expertise to proposals and bids.
- Promote a culture of health, safety, and sustainability across all project sites.
- Ensure consistent application of quality assurance and control processes.
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning for design and construction phases.
- Coordinate with external contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Advocate for continuous improvement in delivery models and operational efficiency.
