You will work closely with business leaders and technical teams to ensure AI initiatives deliver measurable business value. You will set direction, build strong teams, and drive execution from idea to implementation. You will build and lead a team of specialists while acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include: - Defining and executing a business-led AI strategy aligned with overall priorities - Driving organisational adoption and change to ensure AI becomes part of how the business operates - Building, leading, and scaling the AI team and capabilities - Establishing governance frameworks and ensuring responsible, compliant use of AI - Designing and operating a scalable AI operating model (central and decentral) - Identifying, validating, and prioritising AI use cases based on value potential and feasibility - Establishing measurable ROI, value creation, and performance tracking of AI initiatives WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING You bring solid leadership experience and a strong understanding of how technology enables business outcomes. Experience within AI, data, or advanced analytics is an advantage. You are structured, goal-oriented, and able to translate complex topics into clear direction. We are looking for a new colleague who: - Has proven experience driving AI, data, or digital transformation in a complex organisation, preferably within retail or a consumer-focused business - Demonstrates strong commercial understanding and a clear ability to translate AI into business results - Is experienced in influencing and working with stakeholders at all organisational levels, including Senior Management - Has leadership experience or a strong background in building and managing teams within AI, Business Development, data, or technology - Thrives in complexity and takes ownership of execution and outcomes - Brings a pragmatic, business-first, and collaborative mindset - Believes in pace over perfection and progress over theory
