Responsibilities
- Defining and executing a business-led AI strategy aligned with overall priorities
- Driving organisational adoption and change to ensure AI becomes part of how the business operates
- Building, leading, and scaling the AI team and capabilities
- Establishing governance frameworks and ensuring responsible, compliant use of AI
- Designing and operating a scalable AI operating model (central and decentral)
- Identifying, validating, and prioritising AI use cases based on value potential and feasibility
- Establishing measurable ROI, value creation, and performance tracking of AI initiatives
Requirements
- Has proven experience driving AI, data, or digital transformation in a complex organisation, preferably within retail or a consumer-focused business
- Demonstrates strong commercial understanding and a clear ability to translate AI into business results
- Is experienced in influencing and working with stakeholders at all organisational levels, including Senior Management
- Has leadership experience or a strong background in building and managing teams within AI, Business Development, data, or technology
- Thrives in complexity and takes ownership of execution and outcomes
- Brings a pragmatic, business-first, and collaborative mindset
- Believes in pace over perfection and progress over theory
