Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of hardware test engineers
- Develop comprehensive test plans for system-level validation
- Collaborate with design and firmware teams to define test requirements
- Design and implement automated test infrastructure
- Oversee execution of environmental and stress testing protocols
- Analyze test data to identify root causes of failures
- Ensure test coverage aligns with product specifications
- Drive continuous improvement in test efficiency and coverage
- Manage test schedule and resource allocation
- Interface with manufacturing teams to transition test processes
- Maintain documentation for test procedures and results
- Evaluate new test methodologies and equipment
- Support failure analysis and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Participate in design reviews to influence testability
- Track and report key test metrics to stakeholders
- Troubleshoot complex hardware issues during validation
- Coordinate with external labs for certification testing
- Implement version control for test software and configurations
- Promote a culture of quality and accountability
- Manage lab equipment calibration and maintenance
- Develop test strategies for high-volume production
- Lead incident reviews following test anomalies
- Optimize test flow to reduce cycle time
- Ensure scalability of test systems across product lines
