About the Role
The position involves managing global financial consolidation and ensuring adherence to IFRS standards, coordinating with regional teams, improving reporting systems, and supporting strategic financial initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and coordination of IFRS financial statements for the entire group
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes
- Collaborate with subsidiaries and regional finance teams to standardize reporting practices
- Identify and implement improvements in consolidation systems and processes
- Support external audits and respond to auditor inquiries related to consolidation
- Prepare management reports and analyses based on consolidated financial data
- Drive harmonization of accounting policies across international entities
- Manage timelines and deliverables for financial closings
- Act as primary contact for complex consolidation topics
- Monitor changes in IFRS and assess impact on group reporting
- Contribute to the implementation of new financial reporting standards
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting packages
- Work closely with tax, treasury, and corporate finance departments
- Support integration of acquired companies into the consolidation framework
- Develop and maintain documentation for accounting policies and procedures
- Train and guide local finance teams on consolidation requirements
- Optimize intercompany reconciliation processes
- Assist in the evaluation of ERP and consolidation software solutions
- Provide input for investor relations materials related to financial performance
