About the Role
This position supports architectural project teams through design development and technical documentation, working on diverse building projects while gaining experience across multiple project phases.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of architectural designs from concept through to construction documentation
- Produce drawings and models using CAD and BIM software
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project coordination
- Support the preparation of planning and building regulation submissions
- Contribute to site surveys and analysis for project inception
- Help coordinate design information across engineering and technical disciplines
- Participate in design reviews and client meetings
- Develop design details under supervision of senior staff
- Maintain project documentation and drawing standards
- Engage in quality assurance processes for design outputs
- Assist in the production of tender packages
- Support sustainable design initiatives within projects
- Work with project managers to meet deadlines and milestones
- Contribute to health and safety considerations in design
- Gain exposure to project management principles and practices
- Participate in continuing professional development activities
- Assist in the coordination of consultant inputs
- Help manage revisions and drawing updates
- Support the implementation of design decisions on site
- Engage with digital design tools and emerging technologies
- Contribute to post-occupancy evaluations where applicable
- Assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards
- Work on projects across various sectors including infrastructure and buildings
- Support efforts to improve design efficiency and innovation
- Collaborate in a studio environment with peers and mentors
