About the Role

This position supports architectural project teams through design development and technical documentation, working on diverse building projects while gaining experience across multiple project phases.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of architectural designs from concept through to construction documentation
  • Produce drawings and models using CAD and BIM software
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project coordination
  • Support the preparation of planning and building regulation submissions
  • Contribute to site surveys and analysis for project inception
  • Help coordinate design information across engineering and technical disciplines
  • Participate in design reviews and client meetings
  • Develop design details under supervision of senior staff
  • Maintain project documentation and drawing standards
  • Engage in quality assurance processes for design outputs
  • Assist in the production of tender packages
  • Support sustainable design initiatives within projects
  • Work with project managers to meet deadlines and milestones
  • Contribute to health and safety considerations in design
  • Gain exposure to project management principles and practices
  • Participate in continuing professional development activities
  • Assist in the coordination of consultant inputs
  • Help manage revisions and drawing updates
  • Support the implementation of design decisions on site
  • Engage with digital design tools and emerging technologies
  • Contribute to post-occupancy evaluations where applicable
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards
  • Work on projects across various sectors including infrastructure and buildings
  • Support efforts to improve design efficiency and innovation
  • Collaborate in a studio environment with peers and mentors
