Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end global payroll processing across 15+ countries, managing workflows and timelines to ensure on-time delivery
- Conduct payroll forecasting and reporting, including financial analysis and ad-hoc data requests with accuracy and clarity
- Reconcile payroll data with the general ledger to ensure financial integrity
- Monitor and report on accruals related to employee bonuses and severance packages
- Source new payroll vendors and manage existing vendor relationships, defining SLAs and KPIs to optimize performance
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including filing quarterly and annual payroll tax returns and managing amended filings
- Support employee engagement with the ESOP program and lead future implementations of equity management systems
- Deliver a high-quality employee service experience for payroll-related inquiries
- Lead strategic initiatives focused on payroll operations and regulatory compliance
- Manage employee enrollment in pension and insurance programs
- Serve as the primary contact for contractor-related payroll, invoicing, and cost tracking
- Drive innovation in payroll processes and lead continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of payroll experience, including international payroll operations
- Proven ability to manage payroll across diverse geographic regions with local compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications
- Demonstrated project management capabilities and strong attention to detail
- Solid understanding of cross-functional dependencies with tax, accounting, FP&A, legal, compensation, benefits, and equity teams
- Strong prioritization skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Comfort operating in ambiguous situations and using judgment to resolve complex issues and influence outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with relevant professional experience

- Familiarity with payroll processes in the US, EMEA, and other international regions
- Master’s degree in business administration is a plus
