Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle payroll operations for employees in the United States, United Kingdom, and Mexico.
- Enhance efficiency and data accuracy by optimizing Rippling and other HR and payroll platforms, integrating HRIS, ERP, and time-tracking systems.
- Lead upcoming implementations or transitions of payroll systems, such as consolidating Mexico and UK payroll into Rippling.
- Act as the main liaison for external payroll and compliance vendors, including Rippling, Remote, Mazars, and UK-based providers.
- Ensure service level agreements, compliance standards, and output quality are met across all payroll partners.
- Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready documentation, controls, and operational workflows for all regions.
- Define and track key performance indicators like payroll accuracy, timeliness, and support ticket resolution rates.
- Oversee administration of employee benefits in the US and UK in collaboration with People Operations.
- Partner with Finance on payroll inputs, cost distribution, headcount reporting, and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate with HR and People Ops on employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, offboarding, and pay adjustments.
- Coordinate with Legal and Tax teams on regulatory compliance, labor laws, and international employment matters.
- Engage external advisors such as Mazars in Mexico, UK accountants, and US tax specialists for payroll-related guidance.
- Support Controllers and FP&A teams with cost-plus reporting and payroll forecasting requirements.

- The company maintains hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City, with satellite locations in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin.
- In locations with offices, staff are expected to work in person four days each week.
