Scopely is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our expanding Accounting Finance Team in Barcelona, working on a hybrid basis 3 days a week from the hub. What You Will Do This role will support the day-to-day operations of the Accounting function while contributing to continuous improvement across all departmental processes. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies Record general ledger entries in compliance with local and group accounting policies Assist with the month-end close and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting Post and reconcile intercompany transactions Maintain the fixed assets register, including asset postings and monthly depreciation Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team on reconciliations and discrepancy resolution Provide support during external and internal audits Partner with cross-functional teams to support business units with financial and accounting insights Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives What We’re Looking For Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting Prior experience in international environments, preferably across multiple entities Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities A team-oriented mindset with a focus on shared goals Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle ERP experience is a strong plus Bonus Points Background in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment Experience working in a shared service center or centralized accounting function At Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that!
