Responsibilities
- Translate/Localize and perform creative writing for gaming contents from Simplified Chinese to Japanese.
- Collaborate closely with the localization team and development team – communicate translation needs, help resolve issues during the translation process.
Requirements
- Writing ability: near professional/literary writer level, with strong awareness of Japanese writing styles and expressive techniques
- Proven skill: Demonstrates strong skills in Gaming translation (localization)/LQA.
- Must have experience playing story-driven/narrative games.
- Experience working for a variety of game types or genres.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in writing original stories, novels, books or scripts is highly desirable, with a strong emphasis on creative writing skills and imaginative thinking.

- This position is on a freelance contract.
- Duration: 3 months (with a possibility to extend for longer collaboration)
- Working hours: Core Business Hours (8 hours per day) in APAC, Mon. – Fri.
