Responsibilities
- Create and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows for automated game builds, testing, and deployment across multiple platforms using tools like GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Lead automation for building games using major commercial engines and internal retro-focused game technologies.
- Oversee software development kits and devkit environments for game consoles, ensuring proper packaging, certification, and submission processes for console and PC platforms.
- Operate and maintain cloud resources including AWS services such as EC2 and S3, along with on-premise virtualization platforms like VMware and Proxmox.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes to containerize and manage build systems and backend services efficiently.
- Administer source control systems including Perforce, git, SVN, and PlasticSCM, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Develop internal tools and automation scripts using programming languages such as Go, C++, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki to proactively detect and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Enable integrations with major game distribution platforms including Steam, Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and QA teams worldwide to optimize build performance, reliability, and release workflows.
