Fullstack/DevOps Engineer to join Pragmatike, a YC-backed API-first startup revolutionizing meeting automation and recording infrastructure. You will design and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters, optimize PostgreSQL databases, and build CI/CD pipelines while working closely with a small technical team to scale real-time meeting processing systems.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments using Helm, KEDA, and HPA for auto-scaling
- Architect and optimize PostgreSQL databases with schema design, migrations via Drizzle ORM, and performance tuning
- Build and maintain Docker containerization with multi-stage builds and container optimization strategies
- Implement cloud infrastructure solutions on Scaleway and AWS-equivalent services (S3, SQS patterns)
- Configure and troubleshoot Linux systems running X11/Xvfb, PulseAudio, FFmpeg, and v4l2loopback for bot operations
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and container registry workflows
- Monitor system performance using Grafana, Promtail, and implement structured logging across services
- Collaborate with the technical team to scale meeting bot infrastructure and real-time processing systems
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of production experience with TypeScript/Node.js in backend environments
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Helm for managing multi-environment clusters and orchestration
- Advanced PostgreSQL skills including schema design, migrations, and performance optimization
- Proficiency with Docker containerization and multi-stage build optimization
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar) and S3/SQS patterns
- Solid Linux systems administration skills and command-line proficiency
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and structured logging
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a small team environment
Nice to Have
- Rust programming experience, particularly with Axum, Tokio, and C FFI integration
- Browser automation experience with Playwright for bot development and debugging
- React/Next.js frontend development skills
- Redis and message queue systems (SQS) for async processing
- WebRTC and real-time media processing knowledge
