Responsibilities
- Build and ship production-ready features across the stack with minimal oversight
- Own complex UI/UX flows using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind, DaisyUI
- Independently deliver backend features using Node.js, Fastify, Postgres
- Collaborate in a culture of radical autonomy, optional code reviews, and direct feedback
- Work closely with founders to shape product direction and architecture
- Contribute to an AI-first product strategy, including Python-based ML/AI components
- Operate in a hybrid/remote, high-output environment with high bandwidth communication
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js
- Strong UI/UX instincts and the ability to craft polished, intuitive interfaces
- Ability to independently own backend features (Node.js, Postgres, Fastify)
- Exceptional communication, resilience, and product intuition
- Proven success in high-autonomy, high-ownership environments
- Zero ego, high intrinsic motivation, and willingness to work long hours when needed
- Ability to thrive without managerial oversight—because we don’t have managers
Nice to Have
- Experience with Tailwind, DaisyUI, Playwright, DDD, CQRS, queues
- Python experience for ML/AI components
- Track record as an ex-founder or early-stage startup engineer
- Demonstrated success in hybrid/remote high-output teams
