About the Role
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both frontend and backend development with a focus on Flutter. You will own feature development from design to deployment and collaborate closely with product and design teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance mobile and web applications using Flutter
- Design and implement scalable backend services to support application features
- Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX mockups into functional interfaces
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code across the stack
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and responsiveness
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across frontend and backend systems
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
- Integrate third-party APIs and services into the application ecosystem
- Implement robust state management and data flow patterns in Flutter
- Ensure cross-platform consistency for iOS, Android, and web builds
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment
- Monitor application performance and implement improvements
- Support secure authentication and data encryption practices
- Maintain database schemas and query efficiency
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning
Nice to Have
- Experience with web Flutter (Flutter Web) in production
- Familiarity with backend frameworks like Express or FastAPI
- Knowledge of containerization with Docker
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Background in fintech or consumer-facing applications
- Contributions to open-source Flutter projects
- Understanding of accessibility standards
- Experience with analytics and event tracking tools
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Previous work in startup environments
