GovWorx is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join our mission-driven team committed to making a meaningful impact on public safety through innovative technology solutions. In this role, you will contribute through the design, planning, and implementation phases of our Software Development Lifecycle, working in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.
What You'll Do
- Produce clear architectural diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans.
- Follow company architectural guidelines and industry best practices for SaaS or on-premises software.
- Write code across the entire stack: front-end, backend, and database.
- Write meaningful automated tests including Unit Tests, integration tests, and functional automation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer success.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor in software development.
- Expertise in .NET and/or Java.
- Experience with React, Angular, or other modern javascript frameworks.
- Experience writing and documenting public & private APIs.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Relational Databases such as MySQL, Postgres, etc.
- Strong understanding of web development frameworks and architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Nice to Have
- Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with alternative datastores such as OpenSearch, Redshift, etc.
- Familiarity with AI-driven platforms and their security considerations.
