Responsibilities
- Work with a complex codebase that includes multiple Java versions and various architectural patterns.
- Maintain and update legacy while preserving functionality.
- Develop new features based on business requirements.
- Write comprehensive tests for new and old functionality.
- Debug and fix reported issues across the system.
- Perform root cause analysis for critical bugs.
- Monitor and optimize system performance.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
Requirements
- Approximately 3 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer or several years of experience in Java development.
- Strong background in Java development and front-end development using React with TypeScript.
- Strong expertise in application performance optimization and database query optimization.
- Proficient in modern software design patterns and best practices to create scalable, maintainable, and high-performing applications.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools and profiling techniques.
- Experience in maintaining and modernizing legacy systems.
- Knowledgeable in Hibernate, JDBC, MariaDB, Kafka, Docker, Maven.
- Understand GIT flow (pull requests, branches, etc.).
- Skilled with front-end tools and technologies: TypeScript, React, Redux, ES2020, HTML5, SCSS.
- Experience with MaterialUI, Webpack, Jest.
- Excel in collaboration and teamwork, are self-motivated, and pay attention to detail.
