Responsibilities
- Design and advance the evolution of microservices with a focus on performance, security, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and analyze platform application requirements
- Lead the creation of rapid-service deployment templates using Spring Boot, Node.js, and Python Lambdas
- Champion the integration of AI-powered coding tools to enhance developer productivity
- Lead major technology migration initiatives, including Spring Boot upgrades, to standardize practices across 40+ teams
- Own and maintain core architectural components and shared integration libraries used company-wide
- Research and implement improvements using serverless technologies to enhance scalability, cost, and performance
- Serve as the primary expert in identifying and resolving framework-level vulnerabilities across key technologies
- Develop standardized security patterns to address vulnerabilities in widely used frameworks
- Mentor development teams to strengthen DevOps practices through reusable components and education
- Stay current with emerging trends in application frameworks, tools, and development methodologies
- Manage and maintain central services including GraphQL Hive, API gateways, Envoy, AWS ECS, Elasticache, OpenSearch, SNS, SQS, and Kafka
