State Street is looking for an AVP Team Lead, Full Stack Software Engineer to perform management duties for a small team and drive development of the Charles River Private Markets solution. You will work closely with Product Development to define and deliver enhancements within an agile scrum team.
What You'll Do
- Manage a small team consisting of about 4-8 people
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create simple and sustainable software solutions for complex problems
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug large and complex software enhancements and solutions
- Direct problem solving for projects or major phases of projects to resolve software technical issues
- Provide troubleshooting on large, mission critical client implementations
- Engage in the agile software development process by adhering to and advancing the scrum methodology
What We're Looking For
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or other technical course of study
- 7+ years developing event driven architectures
- Previous managerial experience managing teams
- Experience in cloud native development using Java, Spring, Angular or React
- Experience in developing observable, operable cloud native software that horizontally scales
- Experience with relational databases (RDBMS)
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities involving multi-tiered, high-performance database applications
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop software solutions to business and technical problems of high complexity
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment
- Employees are expected to work from the office 4 days a week
Nice to Have
- MS degree preferred
- Financial services experience a plus
- Experience with AWS a plus
