Deel is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join its global team and contribute to building the future of work through its all-in-one payroll and HR platform. You'll play a key role in developing scalable, high-quality web applications and APIs, collaborating across disciplines from discovery to deployment, while ensuring a seamless and compliant experience for global customers.
What You'll Do
- Be a part of a truly cross-functional team including Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA’s.
- Participate in product planning from discovery all the way to deployment.
- Collaborate with teams to develop robust new features and APIs.
- Continuously improve industry-leading products by finding and fixing bugs at DeelSpeed.
- Ensure customers receive a white-glove experience with Deel’s products.
- Fully own the development of features on the client, server, service, and database.
- Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, Javascript, React, Express.
- Design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic using mainly Express framework.
- Create client-side function-based React components, hooks, stories, and tests to interact with server-side work.
- Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions with Postgres.
- Build reusable and modular components on both front and back end to promote code reusability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with emerging web development trends, frameworks, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance development processes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality standards.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to team members and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies, and tools.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of Full-Stack experience, with a focus on TypeScript development.
- Expert in the art of designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using TypeScript, Javascript, React, Express.

Nice to Have
- Experience with SaaS products running 24/7 on a major cloud vendor.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, Storybook, React Testing Library) and automated testing methodologies (Cypress).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with NestJS, Vite, and Next.js.
