Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the split-screen infinite canvas and table workspace used by researchers for qualitative data analysis.
- Improve the canvas experience by adding new tools and collaboration features.
- Explore innovative ways to visualize qualitative data with quantitative perspectives to help researchers derive insights from complex information.
- Integrate machine learning and AI with research frameworks and best practices to empower researchers with advanced capabilities.
- Optimize performance and memory usage to push the limits of what is possible while maintaining high performance.
- Enhance core features such as search, transcriptions, content management, and other key functionalities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience shipping features or products as a full-stack developer.
- Demonstrated proficiency with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development in JavaScript.
- Strong proactive verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire to work in a startup environment with high impact and experimental projects.
- Interest in mentorship, learning from others, and tackling new challenges.
- Collaborative approach to the product process, involving all team members from ideation to implementation.
- Healthy skepticism and curiosity.
- Comfortable admitting uncertainty and participating in user research calls.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Postgres and AWS.
- Experience building real-time collaboration tools.
- Experience using HTML canvas.
- Background in AI, NLP, or data science.

This is a fully remote position, however, candidates must either be based out of Europe (our technical lead is in Georgia) or in the Eastern timezone in US. Candidates who don't match this preference will not be considered for this role.
