cargo.one is hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to join our Product & Engineering team. You will build tools, infrastructure, and user experiences that drive speed, automation, and quality across our platform. Tackle complex technical challenges in a global, remote-first company.
What You'll Do
- Work across the stack with Python (Flask) and JavaScript (Vue.js), PostgreSQL, Redis, gRPC, Celery, and GCP.
- Design, build, and deploy new features in collaboration with product, design, and operational teams.
- Drive architectural decisions and help evolve our microservices and CI/CD pipeline.
- Build internal tooling to help our colleagues work smarter.
- Own your code end-to-end: from implementation to monitoring and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, retros, and our open feedback culture.
- Help us move from 'manual' to 'magic' by automating and simplifying wherever possible.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of engineering experience.
- Solid Python skills and professional experience with JavaScript frameworks.
- Good understanding of SQL and web application architecture.
- Passion for clean, testable, well-documented code.
- Curiosity and proactivity — you ask 'why?', challenge assumptions, and improve systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a remote-first team.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress or similar.
