What You'll Do
Design and implement key features in a React Native application, including real-time chat, job and ad posting with search functionality, push notifications, file handling, geolocation services, user onboarding, and subscription or payment processing. You'll ensure these components deliver a smooth, responsive experience on both iOS and Android.
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and GraphQL, creating efficient, secure APIs that power the frontend applications. You'll work with MongoDB to structure and optimize data storage, ensuring scalability and consistency across systems.
Contribute to web interfaces built with React, focusing on user workflows, form handling, and internal admin tools. Your work will support both end users and internal teams, requiring attention to usability and performance.
Support ongoing technical improvements such as migrating to TypeScript, refining database schemas, and enhancing application architecture. You'll help maintain code quality and support long-term maintainability across the stack.
Engage in daily collaboration with team members, participating in stand-ups and real-time development sessions. You're expected to work synchronously during overlapping hours with the London timezone, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience building applications with React Native for both iOS and Android platforms
- Strong background in Node.js, GraphQL, and MongoDB for backend development
- Experience working with React for web-based interfaces and dashboards
- Familiarity with API design, debugging techniques, and performance tuning
- Ability to work independently in a distributed environment while meeting team commitments
- Fluent verbal English for clear, consistent communication
- Willingness and availability to align with London working hours
