Axon is hiring a Frontend Software Engineer

Axon is hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to build and maintain critical features for mobile applications used by public safety for digital evidence management. In this role, you will collaborate with iOS and Android engineers to develop hybrid applications using ReactJS, Swift, and Java, ensuring high performance and data privacy. You'll build reusable patterns and end-to-end solutions that integrate hardware capabilities into web modules.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement and maintain features within Axon App and related shared libraries.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies.
• Collaborate within your Scrum team to ensure sprint goals are met.
• Collaborate with other groups to ensure we build and ship the right product.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience shipping high-quality web applications.
• Very strong foundations in Javascript and CSS.
• Strong competence in ReactJS, GraphQL, and Redux.
• A track record of delivering solid code on schedule.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with mobile platforms (Hybrid or Mobile Web).
• Experience working with mobile offline features.
• CI/CD experience creating and managing automation with tools like Teamcity or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with VSCode or WebStorm.
• Monitoring and alerting experience.
• Very experienced with javascript foundation.
