We’re looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be assigned on a client project specializing in web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern web standards, with a focus on HTML5, web components, and Tailwind CSS.
Additionally, we use Django templating, and HTMX, and employ AI coding assistants to write and maintain a minimal amount of vanilla JS.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML5, web components
Implement responsive and attractive designs using Tailwind CSS
Write clean, composable, modular elements, in an organized filesystem.
Collaborate with the team for integration with backend services.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Frontend development.
Understanding of HTMX principles
Strong experience with HTML5 and modern web components
Experience using Tailwind styles across Figma designs and the codebase
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Excellent written English
GitHub flow (branches, PRs, etc)
Nice-to-have:
Knowledge of Django and Python
Experience with Storyboard is a plus
Familiarity with web accessibility standards
Teaching and Presentation skills are a plus
