About the Role
The role involves designing and implementing frontend solutions using HTMX, ensuring seamless user experiences and high-performance web features through clean, maintainable code.
Responsibilities
- Develop interactive user interfaces using HTMX and related frontend technologies
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate server-side logic with frontend components
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code for web applications
- Optimize frontend performance and ensure fast load times
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across devices
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues in production and staging environments
- Implement accessibility standards to support inclusive design
- Work closely with product and design teams to translate wireframes into functional UIs
- Maintain and update existing frontend systems and legacy codebases
- Stay current with emerging frontend tools, frameworks, and best practices
- Contribute to technical documentation and system architecture discussions
- Support testing efforts including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Ensure security best practices are followed in frontend implementation
- Assist in defining frontend standards and development workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python or Django templating systems
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or utility-first styling frameworks
- Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks, even if not primary tools
- Knowledge of web security fundamentals and common vulnerabilities

- Understanding of SEO principles as they relate to frontend structure
