About the Role
The role involves developing and refining interactive web applications that help users find and evaluate evidence efficiently. Engineers will work closely with designers and researchers to turn complex workflows into clear, usable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement user-facing features using React and related frameworks
- Translate design mockups into functional, responsive interfaces
- Collaborate with researchers to understand user needs and workflows
- Optimize frontend performance and accessibility
- Write clean, maintainable code with thorough testing
- Iterate on UI components based on user feedback
- Work within a component-driven development environment
- Support integration of machine learning features into the interface
- Maintain consistency across the application’s visual language
- Debug and resolve issues across browsers and devices
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning
- Contribute to frontend architecture decisions
- Ensure interfaces align with product goals
- Improve user workflows through frontend innovation
- Monitor application performance and user interactions
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI or machine learning applications
