Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to retailers and their fresh food teams on maximizing sales, improving margins, expanding product participation, and boosting profitability across fresh food categories.
- Identify performance gaps in fresh food operations and assist stores in resolving issues according to company standards and procedures.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with store managers and fresh food staff to foster a high-performing retail environment.
- Deliver consistent, practical training to enhance fresh food handling, presentation, and operational standards in-store.
- Train teams on effective merchandising, inventory control, portioning, and waste reduction practices within fresh departments.
- Lead the rollout of new fresh product lines and support innovation initiatives at retail locations.
- Advise on food safety protocols, including the implementation of HACCP and the tools necessary for compliance.
- Support stores in promptly addressing and correcting issues identified by Environmental Health Officers.
- Conduct training sessions on the company’s certified food safety management system for retail staff.
- Assist in developing and delivering training materials tailored to customer and internal staff needs.
- Collaborate regularly with internal teams, management, and cross-functional departments as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
