About the role
As a Project Manager within the Software Engineering Practice, you will be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of software development projects. You operate at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring teams remain focused, efficient, and aligned with project goals.
You play a key role in ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end software development projects
• Define and manage scope, planning, budget, and risks
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (developers, QA, architects, etc.)
• Manage stakeholders (clients, internal teams, and management)
• Facilitate Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches)
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively
• Report on progress, quality, and deliverables
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery processes within the practice
Your profile
• 5–10 years of experience as a Project Manager in IT/software development
• Proven experience with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Strong affinity with software engineering (cloud, APIs, microservices, etc.)
• Experience in consultancy or enterprise environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-driven mindset
• Fluent in one of the national languages (Dutch or French) and passive knowledge of the other national language
• Fluent in English
• Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master
Nice to have
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms
• Technical background in software development
