About the Role
The consultant will provide expert knowledge in SAP FI and CO modules to support configuration, troubleshooting, and user support during a project lifecycle in Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Deliver configuration support for SAP FI and CO modules
- Collaborate with project teams to define financial process requirements
- Assist in data migration activities related to financial data
- Provide troubleshooting for integration points between FI and other modules
- Support end-user training and documentation development
- Validate financial reporting structures within SAP
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards in Portugal
- Work closely with functional and technical teams during implementation
- Participate in testing cycles including unit and integration testing
- Identify and resolve configuration gaps in financial processes
- Support month-end and year-end closing simulations
- Assist in defining master data requirements for financial components
- Contribute to blueprint and design documentation
- Monitor system performance related to financial transactions
- Support cutover and go-live activities
