Responsibilities

  • Examine extensive and intricate datasets to uncover signs of fraudulent activity, emerging threats, and potential risk signals.
  • Interpret analytical results and present them as clear, practical insights suited to various audiences such as investigators, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Detect shortcomings in current fraud detection processes and suggest improvements or alternative strategies based on observed trends, industry standards, and regulatory updates.
  • Assess risk signals and determine when to launch investigations at the dealer or account level.
  • Apply established fraud detection models while using critical thinking to respond to new or changing fraud scenarios.
  • Ensure collection, verification, and proper escalation of relevant data and supporting evidence.
  • Use investigative methods to explore suspicious behaviors and irregularities across accounts and dealer networks, adjusting analytical techniques to detect evolving threats.
  • Support fraud investigators with data, trends, and insights to guide investigation strategies and conclusions.
  • Help determine the underlying causes of fraud incidents and contribute to preventive measures.
  • Lead and assist fraud-related initiatives such as process optimization, reporting upgrades, and detection enhancements.
  • Serve as a solution-oriented contributor by identifying operational inefficiencies and driving effective improvements.
  • Use existing analytical tools and reports while creating new resources as fraud risks evolve or novel patterns emerge.
  • Continuously review data sources and analytical materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency with current practices.
  • Assess business operations for potential fraud exposure and evaluate the strength of existing controls.
  • Develop well-substantiated, data-backed recommendations to reduce identified risks and strengthen fraud prevention.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions and monitor their effectiveness over time.
  • Produce structured, accurate reports and presentations that clearly convey findings, trends, risks, and suggested actions.
  • Adjust communication style and technical detail based on the audience's needs and expertise.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of analyses, methods, and reasoning behind decisions.

  • The position operates within a standard professional office setting.
  • Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, filing cabinets, and fax machines are used regularly.
  • This is a full-time role.
  • Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Work hours may extend beyond 40 hours per week depending on business demands.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
