About the Role

Smartkündigen OHG is hiring a Founding Account Executive for the DACH region to directly influence our revenue growth, customer retention, and product adoption. You will be responsible for identifying new business, managing your pipeline, and collaborating across teams in our fast-moving, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

  • Identify new business opportunities and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities through proactive outreach and account analysis.
  • Present product solutions in a compelling, value-driven way in German and English.
  • Own your pipeline and ensure clean forecasting and CRM hygiene using Salesforce.
  • Anticipate churn risks early and implement strategies to secure customer retention.
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure clients receive maximum value.
  • Design and test outbound sales strategies tailored to your segment.
  • Lead cold-calling campaigns to generate high-quality leads and drive meetings.
  • Document and iterate on best practices and outbound sales playbooks.
  • Analyze results to continuously improve your sales acumen.

What We're Looking For

  • You are a builder not a doer and want to contribute to the growth strategy in your territory.
  • Fluency in German and strong English communication skills.
  • 2–3 years of experience as an Account Executive or SDR/BDR, ideally in SaaS or Tech.
  • Confident presenting and consulting via phone, video calls, and in person.
  • Organized in pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Comfortable owning targets and driving strategic client development.
  • Reliable, proactive, and self-driven with a growth mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the HR tech or recruitment industry.
  • Additional language skills.

Team & Environment

You'll work directly with Sales Leadership and closely with Account Management, GTM and Marketing.
