Gebrüder Weiss Paketdienst GmbH is seeking a motivated Forwarding Clerk (m/f) to join our logistics team. This is a foundational role focused on learning and supporting transport operations, including customs documentation and international customer communication, within a dynamic and supportive environment.
What You'll Do
- Learn about rail and truck transport operations and the logistics landscape.
- Develop optimal transport solutions for customers with guidance from your team.
- Process customs documents and freight papers accurately.
- Communicate via various channels with customers and partners from around the world.
- Learn key aspects of warehouse and other forwarding services.
What We're Looking For
- Above-average commitment and a high willingness to learn.
- Enjoy practical learning, variety, and the fast pace of logistics.
- Completed compulsory schooling or be a graduate of HAK/HAS or AHS.
- Motivated by working with people and acting independently.
- Interest in world affairs, fluent German, and conversational English skills.
- Comfort with IT systems, technical media, and handling numbers.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation follows the collective agreement, with a starting apprentice salary in the 1st year of € 914.70 gross/month.
