Our Principles

Impact: We tackle meaningful and exciting projects that improve the world. Ownership: We see projects through from start to finish, overcoming obstacles. We trust each other to manage time and priorities, giving space for independent thinking. Collaboration: We work internally with diverse colleagues—such as other FDSEs, product teams, and Deployment Strategists—and externally with clients, often on-site, to understand and solve their problems. Growth: We believe experiential learning is a powerful teacher and encourage ourselves and peers to pursue new challenges and growth opportunities, as well as innovate and share knowledge.

What We Value

Exceptional ability to tackle open-ended problems in unstructured settings. Adaptability and introspection; willingness to learn, teach, lead, and follow. Continuous learning, independent work, and decision-making with minimal guidance. Collaboration in teams of technical and non-technical individuals, comfort in a constantly evolving environment with dynamic goals and user iteration. Eagerness to creatively solve technical problems using data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other tools. Interest in working with large-scale data to solve valuable business problems. Ability to travel as needed. Varies by location and team. Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar. Engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
