About the Role
This role involves working on-site with clients to understand operational challenges, then designing and implementing software solutions that integrate with existing systems and deliver measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with client teams to identify technical requirements and constraints
- Design scalable software architectures tailored to specific operational environments
- Develop full-stack applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Integrate custom solutions with legacy and third-party systems
- Deploy and maintain applications in secure, production-grade environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real time during implementation
- Translate complex business problems into functional technical specifications
- Work within agile workflows to deliver iterative improvements
- Ensure solutions comply with data security and regulatory standards
- Provide technical guidance during client workshops and planning sessions
- Optimize application performance based on user feedback and usage patterns
- Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Support training and onboarding for client personnel
- Monitor system health and respond to incidents as needed
- Gather user feedback to inform future development priorities
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams to align on architecture
- Adapt quickly to shifting project scopes and stakeholder needs
- Maintain clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Deliver proof-of-concept systems for new initiatives
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline
- Experience with government or defense-related technology projects
- Security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Track record of delivering software in client-facing roles
- Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes
- Experience working in regulated environments
- Understanding of network protocols and system interoperability
