About the Role

Conduct on-site food safety audits at various facilities to verify compliance with international standards and client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections at food manufacturing sites to assess adherence to safety protocols
  • Evaluate production processes for compliance with global food safety standards
  • Document findings and prepare detailed audit reports
  • Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions
  • Communicate results to clients and stakeholders
  • Verify implementation of corrective measures during follow-up visits
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Work independently while following standardized audit procedures
  • Travel to various locations as required by audit schedule
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent audit quality
  • Ensure audit activities align with client expectations
  • Adhere to ethical standards and impartiality requirements
  • Use digital tools to record and submit audit data
  • Support continuous improvement of audit methodologies
  • Participate in training sessions to maintain certification
  • Follow health and safety guidelines during site visits
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Respond to client inquiries related to audit outcomes
  • Assist in developing audit checklists when needed
  • Monitor time and resource use during audit assignments
  • Report critical issues immediately to supervisors
  • Stay informed about changes in food safety legislation
  • Contribute to internal quality assurance processes
  • Uphold professional conduct during all interactions
  • Support remote audits when on-site visits are not feasible
