Responsibilities
- Create and refine firmware for embedded platforms with a focus on reliability and efficient operation.
- Partner with hardware engineering teams to deliver firmware solutions aligned with wireless embedded system requirements.
- Program firmware logic for peripheral components including RF modules, sensors, and communication technologies such as Bluetooth, LoRa, satellite, and LTE.
- Perform debugging and iterative testing of firmware under demanding, mission-critical conditions.
- Support field validation efforts and deploy firmware updates to meet stringent performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate firmware with hardware, software, and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Manage firmware versions and maintain revision control across multiple development projects.
- Ensure firmware adheres to security standards like MIL-STD, FIPS, and FCC regulations.
