Responsibilities
- Reviews and interprets customer inquiries and specifications to recommend suitable equipment designs.
- Conducts on-site visits to customer locations to gather technical details and support evaluations.
- Supports technical analysis and risk assessment during the evaluation of customer requests.
- Prepares cost estimates following defined company procedures and standards.
- Applies management-approved markup and commission structures to establish pricing.
- Identifies required drawings for quotation purposes and ensures their timely completion.
- Prepares, reviews, and delivers formal customer quotations.
- Maintains communication with customers through written or verbal follow-ups during the quoting phase.
- Engages with customers after proposal submission to review and negotiate terms.
- Provides regular updates to management on the status of ongoing proposals.
- Supports the development and revision of sales materials using Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe, and web-based platforms.
- Collaborates with leadership to identify necessary training and tools for performance improvement.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned, aligned with the individual's expertise and background.

Responsibilities

- Travels to customer's facilities for site support and details needed for technical review and proposal generation.
- Assists with technical development and risk assessment of customer inquiries.
- Develops cost estimates according to established guidelines.
- Sets product pricing using mark-up and commission schedules established by management.
- Determines drawings needed for quotation and coordinates their completion.
- Writes, edits, and issues formal quotations to customer.
- Follow-up on any written or verbal correspondence with customer during quotation phase.
- Visits with customer’s post-proposal issuance to discuss and negotiate proposal.
- Provide status reports to management on overall proposal status and activities
- Assist with the creation and modification of sales presentations / documents using Microsoft Office, Excel / PowerPoint / Publisher / Adobe and all Web based systems.
- Works with management to determine updated skills and tools needed to continue improving performance and knowledge.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned that are appropriate based on skills and experience.
Other
- Travel to customer facilities is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe, and web-based systems is required.
