Responsibilities
- Evaluate mechanical condition of fired heaters and related equipment
- Determine operational fitness of combustion equipment
- Predict remaining service life of fired heater systems
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and performance issues
- Design technical and operational improvements for combustion systems
- Offer expert guidance on maintenance practices for fired equipment
- Recommend appropriate maintenance activities and repair plans
- Evaluate maintenance outcomes for compliance and effectiveness
- Analyze spare parts stock and recommend optimal inventory levels
- Perform initial site assessments of heaters and furnaces
- Prepare planning documents and scope definitions ahead of turnarounds
- Support commissioning activities for new or modified equipment
- Inspect delivered equipment for compliance with specifications
- Verify correct installation and alignment of components
- Assist in equipment startup and commissioning procedures
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts during site engagements
- Define investigation scope for comprehensive technical solutions
- Facilitate collaboration between applications and project teams
- Organize and deliver training sessions for clients and teams
