Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm system infrastructure.
- Run low-voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and performing limited conduit work.
- Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
- Test newly installed cable systems and component devices to ensure they are operational.
- Troubleshoot issues with cable networks and fire alarm panels.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with NFPA standards, including NFPA 70 and 72.
- Collaborate with team members on pre-installation design and planning.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed.
- Adhere to all project safety requirements set forth by the company, customers, or OSHA.
