Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of Rusin’s "Core Values."
- Working with a team!
- Complying with safety standards and aware of all surroundings.
- Precisely setting formwork for pours.
- Thoroughly compacting base material.
- Precisely performing fine grading of base material.
- Detailing the fabrication and installation of reinforcing steel.
- Properly placing concrete inside of formwork.
- Screeding/striking-off of placed concrete.
- High-quality floating and handwork that is flat and smooth, and free of any blemishes or trowel marks!
- Being attentive to detail when hand finishing around drains, penetrations through slab, at edges, and around forms
- Precision layout, proper spacing, and installation of hand-tooled, or saw-cut control joints
Requirements
- One year of concrete experience.
- Must be able to tie rebar/steel, build concrete forms and mix/pour/finish concrete.
- Ability to use all types of hand tools.
- Ability to create effective working relationships with employees and the general public.
Nice to Have
- Minimum one (1) year general construction experience is preferred.

Work Arrangement
On-site — Colorado Springs
Additional Information
- May be expected to travel out of town to work on projects.
- May usually work irregular hours and often work early mornings, weekends, shift work and possibly be on call. Generally, work longer hours in summer.
- Work in all weather conditions such as noisy, wet, cold, hot, dirty, windy and dusty environments.
