Sapio Sciences is seeking a Financial Controller to take full ownership of the company's accounting and finance functions. You will be a key leader ensuring the financial health and operational integrity of our growing organization.
What You'll Do
- Manage all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Prepare and publish timely, accurate financial statements and management reports
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure tax compliance
- Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury activities
- Oversee financial audits and liaise with external auditors
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior accounting role
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law, risk management practices, and GAAP
- Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting systems
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position. Candidates may work remotely from anywhere in the USA or from our office in York, Pennsylvania.
