Glomo is hiring a Finance Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead compliance with FEMA and RBI requirements, including ODI submissions, annual performance reports, FLA returns, FC forms, UIN renewals, and ECB or CCD reporting.
  • Ensure punctual filing of GST returns such as GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C, along with TDS, TCS, advance tax, and transfer pricing obligations.
  • Assess tax consequences—both direct and indirect—arising from customer and vendor agreements.
  • Support corporate restructuring initiatives and provide advisory input on financial transactions.
  • Liaise with Big-4 and mid-tier audit firms during statutory and internal audit cycles across all legal entities.
  • Oversee multi-currency bank accounts and manage foreign exchange exposure across operating regions.
  • Administer structured financial instruments like CCDs and CCPS, ensuring adherence to Section 2(57) of the Companies Act and Ind AS 32.
  • Produce monthly reports on cash burn, escrow account reconciliations, and related financial metrics.
  • Track working capital levels and generate short- to medium-term cash flow projections.
  • Manage relationships with banking partners, credit facilities, and payment gateway settlements.
  • Take full ownership of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation for all entities.
  • Generate monthly standalone and consolidated management information system reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Handle intercompany reconciliations and prepare elimination entries for consolidated reporting.
  • Maintain accounting records in line with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll execution.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and funding strategy.
  • Create board and investor presentations featuring financial performance, variance analysis, and key operational metrics.
  • Conduct pricing analysis, unit economics evaluation, and profitability assessments for new payment corridors.
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to product, operations, and partnerships teams.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for accounts payable, expense management, payment approvals, period-end close, and escrow accounting.
  • Implement and manage ERP or accounting platforms such as Tally or Zoho Books, with secure access controls.
  • Design and enforce an internal controls framework appropriate for a regulated fintech with international operations.
  • Promote automation tools to minimize manual work in reconciliation and financial reporting processes.
