Responsibilities
- Construct pilot and pre-production units for essential components using Manufacturing Execution Systems, including high-voltage power systems and intricate electromechanical builds.
- Complete assigned tasks independently while adapting to daily shifts in priorities and workflows.
- Keep workspaces organized and safe by following 5S principles and complying with established safety procedures.
- Conduct trial runs for new products and processes, working with cross-functional groups to meet production goals.
- Report assembly challenges and recommend enhancements, leading or supporting Kaizen initiatives when required.
- Assemble test stand hardware and various assembly levels while ensuring accurate and thorough recordkeeping.
- Disassemble and validate performance of new equipment and testers across different production lines.
- Support engineering teams in diagnosing quality issues and resolving test failures.
- Guide and train production staff through on-the-job instruction and technical support.
- Conduct self- and in-process inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements.
