Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Software to support and maintain Varian’s Oncology Information System (OIS) and Treatment Planning System (TPS) software products, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet customer needs. This role involves installation, maintenance, and customer training in alignment with company procedures and safety guidelines, as part of a global team of scientists, clinicians, developers, researchers, professionals, and skilled specialists.
What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance of OIS and TPS Software Products to ensure systems are systematically updated and operate properly at all times
- Instruct and support customers in systems maintenance and in basic operation of OIS and TPS Software Products to ensure self-sufficiency
- Install OIS and TPS Software Products for Varian Medical Systems equipment according to company procedures and customer’s technical and systems environment
- Maintain a high degree of professional knowledge and safety consciousness according to Varian Medical Systems guideline to perform activities under the safest working conditions
What We're Looking For
- Degree holder of computer engineering, information technology, related fields or equivalent practical experience
- Practical knowledge in computer architecture and networking
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows based operating system is required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in field service
- Fluency in the local language (Korean) and English, in both written and spoken
- Mindset of customer centric and service
- Articulate and skilled in interpersonal communication
- Willing to travel extensively
- Home based position, however, working on office and non-office hours as required to support the customers
