Responsibilities
- Develop deep knowledge of the UK hospitality and foodservice industry to better serve client needs
- Track competitor activity, including their products and marketing approaches, to inform sales strategies
- Conduct market research to forecast sales trends and design effective, localized sales strategies
- Convert potential leads into customers using direct outreach methods such as cold calling, door-to-door visits, and face-to-face presentations
- Manage the complete sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure
- Regularly visit clients to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for improvement
- Deliver live, in-person product demonstrations tailored to retail clients' needs
- Keep accurate and current records in Salesforce CRM to support sales tracking and reporting
- Generate new business leads through participation in networking events and industry functions

What you’ll be doing
- Become deeply familiar with the UK hospitality industry landscape
- Analyze competitors’ offerings and strategic positioning
- Study sales data to project trends and refine outreach tactics specific to your region
- Engage prospects directly through in-person sales techniques including cold outreach and presentations
- Lead the entire sales journey from prospecting to closing deals
- Maintain regular client contact to uncover pain points and business needs
- Conduct effective in-person product demos for retail clients
- Ensure all customer interactions and pipeline data are accurately logged in Salesforce
- Drive new business development through networking and event participation
What you’ll be bringing
- Proven experience in field sales and outbound sales environments, ideally in technology or solution-based selling
- Solid background in the hospitality sector
- Familiarity with modern sales development methodologies
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a target-driven, fast-moving environment
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
